Yes. The Smart Jacket D-air® system recognizes when there is a stationary rear-end collision, which typically happens at a stop sign or traffic light, and immediately activates the airbag to protect the rider.
WARNING: In the case of a rear-end collision, the airbag system can only detect danger and activate if the motorbike is switched on and it senses the vibration of the engine. With an electric motorbike, the Smart Jacket D-air® system is armed only when the motorbike is going at least 6 mph.
